The Trooper News is a monthly newspaper type publication of the Oregon State Police Officer Association (OSPOA) and contains articles and opinions relating to the Oregon State Police as viewed by members of the OSPOA.

	Current Issue / December 2011 Lead Article Funeral held for fallen Virginia Tech officer Deriek Crouse At Virginia Tech today grief was colored not in black, but in shades of blue, and of brown. Thousands of police officers and sheriff’s deputies from New York to Kentucky came to Cassell Coliseum to honor the memory of Deriek Crouse, the first Tech officer killed in the line of duty. The Trooper Magazine is a quarterly publication published and circulated by Jadent, Inc. with the permission of the Oregon State Police Officers Association. This publication contains color photographs and articles relating to and featuring many of the great accomplishments of the members of the Oregon State Police Officers Association.
